Azamara Onward Cabin

Veranda with balcony

So what is your room like? It’s really comfortable! Before we took this cruise I watched You Tube videos of what the cabin would look like. They went so fast, it was hard to tell just how much storage we would have. Although we are usually very private people, maybe this will help others.

We are in a midship veranda cabin. We have plenty of storage space. The bathroom is small like most cruise ships, but we haven’t had any trouble taking turns using the space.

Shower is small with a curtain that is evil. After the first fight, we called it a truce and now the curtain has agreed to stay off me.
This gives you perspective on the size.
There are 3 little shelves in the bathroom that are approximately a finger length in depth. The makeup mirror is useless because there isn’t much light. Wish I had known that.
The bed is more firm than I’m used to and feels a bit worn out compared to the Royal Caribbean cruise we took. I use feather pillows to supplement my bed which seems to do the trick.
We fit everything we wanted to hang in the closet. We have snorkeling gear, beach bags and a cube of my shoes in the floor. David keeps his shoes under the bed.
My pharmacy is in my suitcase under the bed.
I’m using the desk/vanity drawers
Other side of desk.
Middle desk drawer for actual desk items.
We share storage here. The magnetic hooks are a win!
I hang backpacks, purses, hats and clothes that are drying on my hooks.
This is the mini refrigerator with storage drawers.
We get one bag of laundry for each of us per week. They will wash and/or dry clean.
Mission accomplished.

Our favorite area is the balcony of course. There are removable pads for the chairs.
The only thing missing is my cat.
